Welcome to Chilli Children!
The Chilli Children Trust is a registered UK Charity (Charity Number 1106601) which exists to raise funds to support the Chilli Children Project, based in south-western Uganda.
The mission of the Chilli Children Project is to bring hope, healing and opportunity to vulnerable children with life-limiting disabilities across four districts in rural Uganda. This comes through providing access to education, therapy and learning life skills clinics, surgery, outreach clinics and home visits, and encourages chilli growing as an income generating activity.
The Chilli Children Project operates under the Anglican Diocese of North Kigezi. It does not, however, discriminate against any beneficiary based on their religious or any other beliefs. Families supported by the Project are often amongst the most vulnerable or are some of the poorest within their communities. The Project believes that all children deserve to be given the opportunity to lead lives free from the stigma and limitations of their condition.
